I became more active on YouTube after a video about building a backyard waterfall unexpectedly gained over 100,000 views, an unbelievable number to me. Since then, YouTube has become one of my favorite hobbies.

Because my content covers a wide range of things that have caught my interest over the years, YouTube’s algorithm still struggles to categorize my channel. But that’s fine, I do this for fun. Subscriber counts are nice, but they’re not the main driving force.

Even though most of my videos aren’t terribly expensive to make, donations are always welcome. They help the channel grow and make it possible to tackle more complex experiments and builds. (Mostly, they cover the cost of the multiple beers needed to keep my bearings straight! 🍻)
